Since its premiere in August 2020, Ted Lasso has become one of the most widely acclaimed and beloved shows on the Internet. Now, its highly anticipated, 12-episode second season has officially premiered, and more episodes will soon be available to stream.

Co-created by Bill Lawrence, Joe Kelly, and starring cast members Jason Sudeikis and Brendan Hunt, the comedy series is the recipient of the prestigious Peabody Award for entertainment, as well as a Golden Globe for Sudeikis's lead performance in the titular role. Ted Lasso's enduring allure is also thanks to the dynamic shared among additional main cast members Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Nick Mohammed, Jeremy Swift, and Phil Dunster.

Based in West London, the show follows an optimistic football coach from America, Ted Lasso, who leads British soccer team AFC Richmond toward a trophy win. Despite the comical extent of his cluelessness in the sport, Lasso manages to win over the hearts of the team—and those of the show's viewers—through his honesty, openhearted nature, and endearing charm.

The refreshingly uplifting messages and wisdom that so heavily characterized Season 1's wide appeal will see a marked shift throughout Season 2, which reportedly delves further into the theme of mental health. "Mental health still has stigmas around it in this country, and even more so in England, and even more so in sports, so we take a little time to explore that, and where our characters are at with that," Hunt shared with Deadline earlier this month. "Now, I know that all sounds hilarious. But we'll still get our yuks in."

Though, Ted Lasso is still set to bring the same refreshing energy that's proven the grounding hallmark of the show's enduring allure. To tune in to all that's to come for Lasso at AFC Richmond and his continued escapades with the team as they embark on their second year, read on for when and how to watch Season 2.
