Experlogix said its “Digital Commerce” platform (formerly known as Aphix Software) has “successfully expanded” to the North American market. Experlogix Digital Commerce is designed to create a more seamless omnichannel shopping experience.
Aphix Software was mostly used by businesses in EMEA and other parts of the globe.

The company said in a statement that its platform became available in North America at the end of June and “includes a comprehensive suite of B2B commerce solutions designed to give organizations solutions they can use to streamline back-end processes and create more engaging customer experiences as they expand their omnichannel presence.” The market expansion of the platform comes as footwear retailers and brands invest in omnichannel solutions as shoppers continue to shop online and in-store, as well as a variety of devices — including smartphones.
“Digital Commerce allows organizations to easily launch and manage e-commerce apps, web shops and mobile solutions; the software integrates seamlessly with numerous ERP solutions, so clients can provide real-time product and pricing information for their customers,” the company said.

Klarna, which describes itself as the “AI-powered payments network and shopping assistant,” said recently that it is deploying ChatGPT Enterprise, “which brings the power of AI to all Klarna employees with beefed-up security, higher-speed and advanced data analysis capabilities.” Klarna was an early adopter of ChatGPT.
The generative AI platform was launched in November 2022; Klarna said its CEO and co-founder, Sebastian Siemiatkowski, “immediately saw the potential and reached out to OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. Sebastian promised Sam he wanted Klarna to be OpenAI’s ‘best customer.’ Since then, Klarna became the first fintech globally and the first European company in any sector to launch the ChatGPT plugin.”
SML, a leader in retail RFID technology and solutions, said it launched a new feature for its Clarity Store solution, which is “designed to eliminate the need for stock receiving at destinations,” the company said in a statement, adding that the technology “utilizes fixed RFID readers placed in the ceiling of trailers and trucks to automate accurate, hands-free, proof of delivery at retail stores.”
To put this solution into context, SML Group said retailers and brands “face inaccurate management information for last-mile delivery for their products. Retailers cannot accurately manage inventory levels without clear visibility of product deliveries. This can quickly result in overstocking or understocking of products, ultimately resulting in lost sales opportunities, negatively impacting profit levels while decreasing customer satisfaction.”

The company said its SML Clarity solution, which is cloud-based, delivers “over 99 percent accurate inventory levels while reading more than 5,000 items in delivery vehicles in customer pilots.”
