Through tears and giggles, this teen blew out the candles on his first ever birthday cake
James is sitting at the dinner table about to receive something that many kids take for granted every year on their birthday. But for this teen, it's a first. With eyes wide open with anticipation, he hears singing from family members all around him that goes something like this:
Over his shoulder, his mom Jamie walks into the room to deliver something specially made just for him. A birthday cake...the first birthday cake of the teen's life.

That's not all though. The whimsical, green-frosted, soccer-themed confection is the literal icing on the cake of this teen's first-ever birthday celebration of any sort!
James and his brother Abraham were adopted by Joe and Jamie Walker in October of 2021 from an orphanage in Sierra Leone which is located in West Africa.
Their birthdates and ages are only educated guesses with no official records that the Walkers are aware of. The family enjoys celebrating all of the “firsts” and new traditions with James and Abraham whose reactions are priceless.
