Taylor Swift's career timeline

It's been over a decade since Taylor Swift first hit the country music scene with cute curls, cowboy boots and her first single, "Tim McGraw." In 2006, she released her self-titled debut album and quickly rose to fame with songs like "Teardrops on My Guitar." Swift began to climb the charts and in 2007 her single "Our Song" became her first No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart. By 2009, Swift's popularity went beyond music. Her fanbase was unstoppable and so were her collection of awards. How can we forget when Kanye West famously interrupted the singer during her VMAs acceptance speech. That bump in the road didn't faze the country singer turned pop sensation. In 2011 she won an American Music Award for Artist of the Year. Three years later, she released her "1989" album. It debuted at No. 1 with the largest sales week for an album since 2002! In August, Swift gave fans her seventh studio album, "Lover." She released the album on August 23. The numbers eight, two and three add up to her favorite number, 13.
