Taylor Swift’s Teen Choice Awards Outfit Was More J.Lo than T-Swift

Taylor Swift’s style is mostly comprised of three items: shorts, crop tops and rompers. So, when she hit the 2019 Teen Choice Awards red carpet you better believe she stayed true to her signature look. But, in classic T-Swift fashion, the 29-year-old “The Archer” singer did add a little unexpected twist.

Swift has been rocking all the rainbow outfits since announcing her newest album, Lover. And while this outfit definitely packed a lot of multicolor punch, it was more Jennifer Lopez than T-Swift.

The (potentially engaged) singer rocked a low-cut Versace bodysuit with matching shorts and a blazer for the event. Her whole vibe just screamed Jenny from the Block at the 2000 Grammys, but with a lot less skin showing.

As you can see above, the inaugural Teen Icon Award winner wore a tomato red bustier underneath her eye-catching number to offset the low neckline.

The Cats star paired the high-fashion look with tangerine colored Kat Maconie lace-up block heels (they also had a peep toe, magenta heels and rainbow shoelaces). In addition to matching her brightly hued ensemble, the booties are on sale for $188. That’s quite a deal for so much color.

Swift completed the ensemble with Misahara’s Zora gold and diamond hoops ($4,800), the Baby Platform gold and emerald ring by Emily P. Wheele ($2,500), a VRAM bauble and what appears to be Irene Neuwirth’s rose gold and opal classic ring ($1,140).

Her beauty look was all big, voluminous hair and iridescent makeup.

Taylor’s new motto? Color FTW.
