TIFFANY TAYLOR: Taylor Swift's next big screen roll has been revealed. So it will be seen and filmmaker David O Russell's new movie, which stars Margot Robbie, Christian Bale, and John David Washington. The movie is already completed production in Los Angeles, but still plot details are being kept under wraps. 20th century studios will release the project but has yet to set a date. It marks Russell's first feature since 2015's Joy, starring Jennifer Lawrence.
This news follows a busy year for Swift. The last 12 months saw the star release two new albums, Folklore and Evermore, as well as the rerecorded version of her 2008 album Fearless, titled Fearless Taylor's Version. Folklore was the highest selling album of 2020 and one Swift album of the year at the 2021 Grammys, marking her 11th Grammy win. Swift's other film credits include Valentine's Day and The Giver. Most recently she played Bumble Arena in the big screen adaptation of Cats.
