Taylor Swift opened up about her worst interview ever, and we feel for her

Taylor Swift revealed that one interview for the cover of "Rolling Stone" didn't go as planned. Watch her tell the story here.

Celebrities may seem cool and put-together 24/7, but even A-listers have bad days. After all, when giving interviews and performing live on stage, there are so many potential malfunctions and mishaps. Taylor Swift, for example, once had a harrowing driving experience during an interview.

On the May 24th episode of The Graham Norton Show, Swift reminisced about the time when, while doing an interview for a 2012 Rolling Stone cover story, she ended up getting into not one, but two car accidents with the journalist in the car. She explained to Norton that being on the cover was a “huge deal” for her, and that she had wanted to be her best that day. Ultimately, she decided that she would drive the writer, Brian Hiatt, herself. But things did not go according to plan.

The “Me!” singer clarified that in the second accident, another driver had side-swiped her car. She admitted that she was “fully panicking,” and it sounds like Hiatt was, too.

Watch her relive the harrowing moment below.

In case you’re wondering, Hiatt did describe both accidents in his Rolling Stone profile, and, to be fair, he acknowledged that the side-swiping incident was “random, terrifying, and utterly not her fault.” The first accident, on the other hand, involved Swift backing into a parked car. Thankfully, it seems like everyone was okay afterwards.

We can only imagine how stressful and upsetting it would be to get into two car accidents in one day—especially with someone you were trying to impress. We’re glad Swift can look back on this story and (sort of) laugh.
