Taylor Swift Is Liking Tumblr Posts About the Kanye West Phone Call

It felt a whole lot like summer 2016 this weekend when the entirety of Taylor Swift and Kanye West’s “famous” phone call was seemingly leaked online. While the video’s origins have yet to be determined, the clips soon made the rounds on the internet, giving Swifties the vindication they’ve been seeking for years: it sure seems like Taylor had been telling the truth this whole time.

Needless to say, Taylor’s fanbase soon exploded in reaction posts — and it looks like the singer has been paying attention. A quick scroll through her Tumblr likes will reveal that Taylor is enjoying her fans’ celebration. “WHO WAS TELLING THE TRUTH THE ENTIRE TIME???” one such post read, while another quipped “2016 me is not surprised.” The “Lover” singer also favorited a “Taylor told the truth moodboard,” along with a lengthier post about the “Famous” music video, which contained a nude wax figure of Taylor (along with other celebrities).

The full video of the call revealed that Taylor actually expressed a great deal of hesitation regarding Kanye’s song, “Famous.” When the rapper suggested that she help promote the track, she seemingly voiced concern that people would try to “make it negative” if it came from her, adding: “I try to be super-self aware about where I am and I feel like right now, I’m really close to over-exposure.”

Additionally, the lengthier footage reinforced Taylor’s assertion that she never heard the full lyrics, including the line “I made that b*tch famous.”

For their part, neither Kim Kardashian nor Kanye West have released any formal statements regarding the new footage. However, several fans noticed that Kim liked a tweet referencing the call, which read: “The video showed nothing new. We all knew that. I’m so confused right now.”

We’ll have to wait and see if any of the celebs involved speak up on a more formal platform. At least one thing is clear right now: Taylor’s fans have stood by her side from the beginning, and they aren’t going anywhere.
