Taylor Swift Does Viral ‘Barbie’ Walk For ‘Eras Tour’ After Her Louboutin Heels Break Onstage

Taylor Swift’s latest “Eras Tour” stop has included a viral wardrobe malfunction — with a glamorous shoe choice, to boot.
On Monday, Swift performed during her tour’s Rio de Janeiro, Brazil stops at Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos, where the heel broke off from one of her Christian Louboutin boots — a knee-high style covered in ombré gold and purple crystals, which she’s also worn at previous concerts. While combatting the sudden wardrobe malfunction, Swift removed the heel and its attached red sole and quickly tossing both offstage, as seen on Twitter.

The singer then continued to perform during her set while holding her foot upright, still in the similar position as her heeled shoe, according to Billboard.
The resulting effect instantly channeled a similarly viral scene from 2023’s “Barbie” film, where Margot Robbie stepped out of a heeled mule while her bare foot remained at a sharp angle.
Swift’s “Barbie”-style walk went instantly viral online, as did her resulting heel malfunction. The crystal-coated heel and its signature red sole were actually caught by a fan, who shared the souvenir hidden in his backpack on Twitter.
Christian Louboutin’s embellished boots are a key part of Swift’s “Eras Tour” concert wardrobe, worn as the opening shoe of her “Lover”-era set alongside coordinating Versace bodysuits. Stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer has included various themed outfits for each of Swift’s album eras within her tour wardrobe, including ensembles by Roberto Cavalli, Etro, Nicole + Felicia and Oscar de la Renta, among other labels.
