Target Deal Days are happening this week! Here’s exactly when and how you can shop the big sale

Target Deal Days are coming back, people! If you’re unfamiliar, think of it as Target’s official kickoff to the holiday shopping season. The sale includes major savings on thousands of items, including home goods, apparel, tech items and more. In fact, the prices rival its Black Friday deals. (Yes, it’s that good).
When are Target Deal Days happening?
The deals are coming a little earlier than usual this year. Target Deal Days will take place on Thursday, Oct. 6 through Saturday, Oct. 8. However, the retailer shares on its website that shoppers can expect “to find incredible deals and everyday low prices throughout the holiday season.”
Where can you shop Target Deal Days: Online or in-store?
You can shop the major sale online and in stores. While you don’t have to be a Target RedCard holder to shop, those who use the card online receive free shipping on orders of $35 or more and 5% off every day.
Additionally, all shoppers (RedCard or not) can get items with its same-day services, including free Drive Up and in-store order pickup or same-day delivery via Shipt.
Take advantage of Target’s price matching!
Target is also kicking off its Holiday Price Match Guarantee during the sale. If you purchase something between Oct. 6 and Dec. 24, you will qualify for a price adjustment if the Target price goes any lower on or before Dec. 24. This way, you are guaranteed the absolute lowest price, no matter when you start your holiday shopping.

As someone who pretty much shops for a living, I’ll say you should start looking at Target’s website now. Start filling your cart, and add items to the Saved For Later basket or “favorite” items by clicking on the heart on the bottom righthand of the product’s picture. This way, when Target Deal Days hit, you can easily check for discounts.
In the meantime, Target offers great deals every day, so it’s worth checking out its Top Deals section as well. Right now, you can score up to 30% off TVs and home theater systems, up to 25% off select kitchen items and more.
Either way, add Target Deal Days to your calendar and get ready to save. The holiday season is coming up faster than you think!
