Tarek El Moussa Wants to Help Remodel Your Home with His New Company, ‘Design Build Firm'

  • HGTV star Tarek El Moussa officially launched his own company, called Tarek El Moussa Build Firm.

  • The 37-year-old aims to provide a full-service construction and design option for the everyday homeowner.

  • Tarek and his business partner, Steve Cederquist, are currently focusing on the Southern California area.

One day after sharing news that he'll be returning for the ninth season of HGTV’s Flip or Flop, starring ex-wife Christina Anstead, Tarek El Moussa announced he’s launching his own company. Adding onto his plate-which includes starring in a new digital series, Tarek’s Flip Side-the 37-year-old will be running a full-service construction and design service called, Tarek El Moussa Design Build Firm.

“You’ve seen me buy, fix and sell beautiful houses for many years on TV…Now, I want to take all my expertise directly to you to create stunning spaces!!” he wrote on Instagram. “I’m proud to announce I’m launching my new company ‘Tarek El Moussa- Design Build Firm’ With my business partner @stevecederquist, who you have seen on Flip or Flop!!”

Teaming up with contractor and businessman Steve Cederquist, Tarek aims to focus on “upscale residential construction and design.” The company is designed to manage every single detail involved in home improvement projects, from concept to completion.

Currently, the firm is working in the Southern California area, and encouraging fans to contact Tarek directly through Instagram direct messages with requests to remodel or build a home from scratch. They hope to have a website up and running next week to take formal requests.

Fans of the HGTV star immediately started showing their love and support for this new chapter. “Awesome, I love how you work hard and [are] a loving father to your kids,” one person wrote. “Best of luck to you in your new adventure! You’ll be fantastic!!” another added. “When I find some extra money, you can come to Palm Springs to redo my kitchen!” one person shared.
