Tarek El Moussa Told His Daughter About His Proposal Plan Before Anyone Else
Tarek El Moussa recently surprised his girlfriend Heather Rae Young with a proposal, and while it may have come as a shock to some, his 9-year-old daughter Taylor knew about his plan to pop the question.
“Taylor knew I was proposing before anybody else,” El Moussa told People. “I actually told her right before Heather and I left for the trip, so she knew a few days before.”
The HGTV star proposed to Young, who stars on Netflix’s Selling Sunset, while on a romantic getaway celebrating their one-year anniversary on Catalina Island off the coast of Los Angeles.
El Moussa describes Taylor’s reaction to the news as “the most excited I’ve ever seen her” and said she couldn’t stop texting him while he was on the trip asking if he had done it yet, he told the outlet. El Moussa shares Taylor along with his 4-year-old son Brayden with his ex-wife Christina Antstead, who he publicly parted ways with in 2016.
