If you've ever dreamed of flipping your own home like HGTV's Tarek El Moussa, you're in luck. The Flipping 101 star just made his *free* real estate workshop available online so you can learn a whole new trade from the comfort of your couch.
The real estate seminar, Homemade Investor, launched earlier this year as a free traveling in-person workshop slated to visit several major cities across the country. However, El Moussa took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce that he's moved his seminar to a digital model due to the coronavirus outbreak. The curriculum has now been divided into four one-hour seminars with the following titles: Fix & Flip, Wholesale, Foreclosure, and Real Estate.
According to the webinar descriptions, students will learn the "investor mindset," creative ways to fund real estate deals, top flipping tips, the importance of asset protection, ways to generate extra income through real estate, and more. While virtual classes have their pros and cons, El Moussa's decision to move these seminars online allows everyone the opportunity to reap the benefits (his original in-person model was limited to a certain area on a certain date).
These seminars hold a significant place in El Moussa's heart as he got his start in the business during a similar program. "So many people don't know this, but I actually got my real estate career started at 20 years old by going to a free seminar in Buena Park, Calif.," El Moussa said in the original video teasing the Homemade Investor workshop.
All online seminars are live sessions with dates and times available in the immediate future. You can register for them here.
