Here's even more proof that, despite the rumor mill wanting us all to believe Tarek and Christina El Moussa are having the most hostile divorce of all time, they're actually being total adults about it. According to TMZ, the couple has enlisted the help of celebrity life coach Tim Storey to help them work through things like their work relationship and co-parenting arrangements.
Bringing in a life coach is a completely logical thing to do. In even the most amicable divorce, emotions can run high, and having a neutral third party around to guide and mediate is a great idea. TMZ reports that Storey, who has worked with celebs like Robert Downey Jr., Kanye West and Charlie Sheen, is helping the El Moussas work toward their goal of staying friends after they finalize their divorce. They're not working with Storey in order to reconcile or save their marriage, TMZ reports.
Even as rumors have said that Christina is torturing Tarek by flaunting her new boyfriend in front of him and Tarek is verbally abusing Christina on the Flip or Flop set, looking more closely at the stars themselves reveals how hard they're actually trying to keep their split amicable. They hang out as a family on holidays and on set, and every interview they've given since they announced their separation has been extremely positive.
"Tarek and I are in a good spot. We have a lot of things that we're working on, cool things coming in the future, so we're just looking forward," Christina said in a recent one. "We both travel a lot, so we're very flexible with our schedules. We both put the kids first, we just decided to really get on the same page and both make sure we're doing the best we can."
