Christina and Tarek El Moussa's Kids Look So Much Like Them It's Crazy
Christina and Tarek El Moussa have had to navigate many changes since their divorce was finalized in 2018. The most important adjustment they’ve had to make is how to co-parent their two kids, Taylor and Brayden El Moussa.
Christina and Tarek’s children have been a part of their show, Flip or Flop, since the beginning. So it only makes sense that the HGTV stars will continue to give glimpses into their family dynamic—which now includes Christina’s new husband Ant Anstead and their son, due in September—even after their split.
Though Christina, 36, formerly described working with her ex as “beyond awkward” the two are dedicated to remaining a team for their daughter and son. Here’s everything to know about Christina and Tarek’s adorable kids.
Taylor El Moussa
Taylor is Christina and Tarek’s 8-year-old daughter, born on September 22, 2010. To say she’s the spitting image of her mom is an understatement, as she is already brimming with sass and style. Christina says she has even started to like shopping, so watch out for your wallets, mom and dad! She loves to swim, play soccer, and run around with her little brother.

Taylor is also wise beyond her years. Christina previously revealed to Good Housekeeping that she and Tarek, 37, put Taylor in therapy to help her work through her parents' split. "One day, as I was driving her to an appointment, she said, 'I don't need to go to therapy anymore. I think you and Daddy are happier apart, and I don't really need to talk about it anymore,'" Christina told the publication. "She's very open and honest with her feelings, but still I was like, 'Wow, that's a big comment for a 6-year-old.'"
Brayden El Moussa
Little Brayden was born on August 20, 2015 and the 3-year-old (almost 4!) is rarely seen without a smile on his face. Which is likely why Tarek has described him as “the happiest kid ever.” He recently started up jiu-jitsu, and he also packs some serious dance moves.

Tarek and Christina previously opened up about their difficulty getting pregnant with Brayden. Christina went through two in vitro fertilization attempts, before a third finally worked. But the couple had to be very careful. Christina told People, “I had to do one full week in bed. For 13 weeks after that, I couldn’t go for a walk and couldn’t lift anything over a gallon of milk.” Thankfully, the two welcomed Brayden a few months later.
How Christina and Tarek Co-Parent

Despite any drama, the couple has remained civil for the sake of their children, of which they share joint legal and physical custody with equal parenting time.
"What doesn't work [when you want to] co-parent is to have all that animosity towards each other," Christina said in an interview with ET last year. "Kids sense that, so Tarek and I will never say anything negative about each other to the kids, in front of the kids. I think that's so important. It's so important to still communicate and show [our] kids that we're still friends, that we'll always be a family. Whether that's sports events together, birthday parties. It just makes our kids feel more comfortable."

It helps that Tarek is supportive of Christina’s relationship with Ant, who also has two kids from a former marriage. “He seems like a good guy,” Tarek said when Christina and Ant started dating. “I’m happy she finally found a decent, normal guy.”
