The actor, 44, broke the news in an emotional statement shared on her Instagram, writing that after 14 years of marriage, "Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways."

"These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness," said Tia, who married Cory in 2008 and shares with him two children, Cree and Cairo. "We will maintain a friendship as we coparent our beautiful children. I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family, and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives."

Tia's post was met with plenty of loving and supportive messages in comments — including one from her twin sister, Tamera Mowry-Housley.

And she said on Today that Tia has her full support in her decision to get a divorce. “I support her. So whatever she wants, the Mowrys have her back," she shared.

“I love her dearly," Tamera added. "She is strong but I know right now she just kind of just wants to, you know, just kind of process it all, take it all in, and be a little private about that. As a sister, you know, I'm just going to respect that.”

In addition to Tamera, several other celebs also weighed in on the divorce announcement. Halle Berry wrote on Instagram that she was "sending love" and encouraged Tia to "stay strong."
