These are a few of Tamera Mowry-Housley's favorite things
Tamera Mowry-Housley reveals her five favorite items of the moment in this installment of "New in the Q." She loves makeup but doesn't love all the fuss, so two of her favorite products are Summer Fridays' Lip Balm and Bite Mascara, which give her all the glam and none of the gloom of over-priced and underperforming makeup. She does splurge on some things though, like her favorite cashmere sweater from Naked Cashmere, which spells out the word "Love." What really gets her going are kitchen tools, and she loves her KitchenAid whisk more than anything else in her kitchen. Finally, she enjoys all her favorite things while sipping on her favorite wine from her own family vineyard, Housley Napa Valley. It's a cabernet sauvignon named after her mother-in-law, Judy.

TAMERA MOWRY-HOUSLEY: Hi. I'm Tamera Mowry-Housley, and I'm going to be showing you five things I am obsessed with in "New in the Queue." The first thing I cannot live without is a really good lip balm. This is called Summer Fridays. It's their lip butter balm. It literally feels so smooth, and it has a beautiful gloss. You know how some gloss, it has a sticky like feeling to it? This does not.
I am, when it comes to makeup, I'm very simple. That's why I have my balm. But then I need my mascara. This mascara, you guys, I just discovered it. It's magical. I'm not the best putting on fake eyelashes. With this, you don't need them. It is amazing how your eyes just pop, and the lashes literally, like, elongate right before your eyes.
Everyone who knows me, I usually don't splurge a lot. But there are a few things I will allow myself to splurge on. And that is cashmere. I fell in love with Naked Cashmere. I'm so weird with cashmere. I don't care how hot it is, I will still wear it. This one says love on it. I'm all about love. It's just who I am. I love love. I love to give love. I just love love.
When I'm hosting and I'm baking, I always say mix, mix, mix, mix, mix, mix, mix, mix, mix, mix your sauces, or when I'm baking, your mixture. Make sure you mix. The egg beater that I really like is the Kitchenaid. I love the size. It's sturdy. And it's going to do-- that sounds sexual. And it's going to do what it needs to do. What the hell?
Come on, you know me. I love wine. This is our Century Oak Cab Sauvignon. It's 2011. And it's Judy's Vineyard. She's my mother-in-law. It is fantastic. Sometimes when you drink cab, you can kind of have that tanny, kind of bitter taste at the end. This is not. It is great with pretty much anything. Thanks for checking out my current obsessions in "New in the Queue."
