It's time for Tamera Mowry-Housley to move on.

Last week, the Sister, Sister alum shared on Instagram that she is leaving The Real after seven years. Tamera noted that she had "no intention" of sharing the news so soon after the recent death of her friend and former Glee star Naya Rivera. But because "some reports" were surfacing, she felt it best for the news to come from her first.

"For seven years, my home and my heart has been at The Real," Tamera's Instagram post reads. "The friendships that I've made there will last a lifetime, and the people that I've had the blessing to interview have changed my life for the better. I'm so proud of what all the ladies and I have accomplished there, including two well-deserved NAACP Image Awards and a Daytime Emmy. However, all good things must come to an end, and it's with a bittersweet smile that I announce that I am moving on from The Real."

Her post also gave a beautiful shoutout to her co-stars Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love, and Jeannie Mai: "To my fellow hosts, I love you, I will miss you, and I will always be there for you. Thank you for teaching me, supporting me, and loving all of me. Sisters forever ..."

Reacting to the news, Adrienne wrote, "SISTERS FOREVER & EVER & EVER." Meanwhile, Tamera's husband, Adam Housley, commented, "The kids and I are so very proud of everything you do. ❤️" Tamera's fans went on to pen encouraging words and say how much they were going to miss her on the popular talk show.

Based on Tamera's Instagram, it appears she made the decision to walk away on her own. "I look forward to spending more time with my family, pursuing amazing new opportunities, and embarking on the next chapter of my life," Tamera wrote.

A day after sharing the news, Tamera took to Instagram again to post an important message about taking time for yourself. Her post reads, "As women, we often feel like we have to do and be it all. We are a wife, a mother, a teacher, a chef, a therapist, a sister, the list goes on and on. I wouldn’t trade it for the world, but some days are definitely easier than others. For all the women out there who are feeling overwhelmed or exhausted, just know: It’s perfectly okay to not always be okay. We’re all just doing our best 💛#selflove #realtalk."

In the months ahead, Tamera will appear in Hallmark's upcoming Christmas movie Christmas Carnival. What's more, a press release from Hallmark reveals that Crown Media is "developing projects" with Holly Robinson Peete and Tamera, which could mean that the The Real star will be starring in even more upcoming shows and films.

As we wait to find out what else is ahead for Tamera, fans can always check out Tamera and Adam on their YouTube series, The Housley Life.

Tamera's exit comes just over one month after Amanda Seales announced she was leaving The Real. Amanda had been with the show for six months and decided not to renew her contract, saying she felt she was not able to fully express herself as a Black woman.

"It doesn't feel good to my soul to be at a place where I can not speak to my people the way they need to be spoken to," she said. "And where the people who are speaking to me in disparaging ways, are not being handled."

Amanda added: "I'm not in a space where, I can as a full Black woman, have my voice and my co-workers also have their voices, and where the people at the top are not respecting the necessity for Black voices to be at the top, too."

On Instagram, Amanda made it clear that she didn't have any issues with her co-hosts.
