After reports of alleged sexual misconduct by Stuart Weitzman creative director Giovanni Morelli surfaced last week via Business of Fashion, steps are now being taken to make sure consequences will follow Morelli's behavior. In a lawsuit filed to a Manhattan court by the brand's vice president of product development for footwear Thomas Gibb, the executive lists Tapestry, Inc. — which owns Weitzman, Coach, and Kate Spade — and Morelli as codefendants. Gibb was formerly the vice president of footwear operations at Coach.

Gigi Hadid might very well be the trendsetter of 2017.From spearheading the popular Brit-style skinny neck scarves earlier this year to making nighttime pajamas appropriate for the daytime, this young model is back at it again with her version of the best fall transitional shoe — a pair of mules designed in partnership with Stuart Weitzman’s new creative director, Giovanni Morelli. On Wednesday, Hadid wore her brand-new EyeLove mules made of a buttery soft tan suede and shearling trimmed interior with a chic white suit by Turkish designer Zeynep Arçay. The name “EyeLove” is a signifier of the “evil eye” motif found on the left shoe of the “EyeLove” mules. The second version, EyeLoveMore, conversely, features a multitude of evil-eye motifs on both feet instead of just one. The popularity of mules is often credited to their closed toe and open back, keeping your feet cool, yet warm, and the low heel provides extra comfort, making them the perfect fall transitional shoe.“I’ve really been into slides lately and wanted a pair that can take me into fall … no more cold toes!” said Gigi Hadid in a press release statement. “The evil eye is a powerful symbol meant to protect those who wear it from negative energies. It’s emotionally comforting and beautiful and captivating to look at.”You can easily dress the mules up or down for everyday use and even wear them during the forthcoming holiday season. Wear them to work with your favorite pair of slacks and a cozy knit sweater, or dress them down for a casual weekend brunch with jeans and a tee. Choose the black suede version, and style it with a dark floral or velvety dress for Thanksgiving dinner. The EyeLove mule retails for $498, and the EyeLoveMore mule is priced slightly higher at $598; both are available now on stuartweitzman.com. Although the mules are pricey, there is a charitable component to the shoes that might help you justify the splurge. Each purchase will benefit Pencils of Promise, a charity that helps build schools, trains teachers, and funds scholarships. Stuart Weitzman has pledged $105,000 to build three schools this fall, specifically in Ghana, Guatemala, and Laos.Click through the gallery above to shop the Stuart Weitzman Gigi Hadid mules, as well as additional similar options, and find your perfect fall transitional shoe.Read more from Yahoo Lifestyle: • Dark floral romantic dresses are trending for fall — shop 15 versions now • Shop Jessica Alba’s holiday wish list through philanthropic retail concept Olivela • This couple’s wedding photo captures 2 generations of long-lasting loveFollow us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for nonstop inspiration delivered fresh to your feed, every day.

In the fashion world, seasons are always one step ahead. When snow is still fresh on the ground, designers are already thinking about bikinis. So, as it goes, while the summer sun is still strong, brands are already releasing their fall 2017 ad campaigns, teasing shoppers with what will soon grace stores and tempt wallets. The latest campaign is a bit of a head scratcher. Ugg teamed up with Twin Peaks star Kyle MacLachlan, Kim Gordon of rock brand Sonic Youth, and seven other talents spanning the fields of fashion, business, music, and art for their fall fashion campaign. Interestingly, the traditionally winter-centric brand decided to shoot their ads in the heart of sunny California, and features MacLachlan, Gordon, and others clad in their new ’70s retro-style fall apparel. However, familiar faces continue to front the ads. Gigi Hadid stars in four campaigns — and counting — whereas BFF Kendall Jenner and sister Bella Hadid trail behind with just one campaign each (Fendi and Giuseppe Zanotti, respectively).Although It-girls of the moment aren’t the only stars booking big jobs. Kate Moss continues to showcase her modeling prowess after 30 years in the business, starring alongside Oscar nominated actress Naomie Harris in the newest Miu Miu campaign.Big-time industry names aren’t needed to make a major impact though as Calvin Klein proves with the meta universe created by Raf Simons showing models posing in front of the brand’s past billboards.Gucci took a similar approach shirking the Hadids and Jenners of the world, but went in a more avant-garde direction. Creative director Alessandro Michele situates the campaign in an alien world inspired by the 1950s and 1960s sci-fi genre and Star Trek. Models dressed in head-to-toe Gucci are juxtaposed against a backdrop filled with UFOs, dinosaurs, and phaser beams.Click ahead to get inspired by all of the season’s best fall fashion campaigns before you begin to shop for your fall wardrobe.Read more from Yahoo Style + Beauty: • What to Wear to the Top 5 Classic Summer Wedding Locations • The Trendiest Sandals of the Summer Cost Less Than $100 • Is the Wrap Dress Universally Flattering? It is prime spring cleaning time — but before you start rummaging through your closet, Yahoo Style is here to help you get the most bang for your buck for those castaway items you’ll soon be putting in your “to sell” pile.Yahoo Style consulted eBay to find out which fashion items are the most popular and have the biggest selling power on their global marketplace. EBay determined that Louis Vuitton handbags are some of the most valuable. EBay took an average of different Louis Vuitton handbag types and found that new ones can be sold for upwards of $1,000 on the site, while used bags are typically sold within the $600 to $700 range.Another trending and valuable item is the iconic Burberry trench coat. If you have a used one, you can expect to earn approximately $160 to $200, while a new coat can bring in $400 to $500.What else made the list? A wide variety of popular fashion shoes and accessories from designers such as 3.1 Phillip Lim, Stuart Weitzman, and Rihanna‘s footwear line, Fenty Puma.Click ahead to see the full list of items and their resale values, but before you start your selling spree, read below for some tips from Laura Chambers, eBay’s vice president of consumer selling, to help you become an expert seller.Take clear, detailed images. “To maximize visual appeal, include multiple photos of the item from different angles in good light with a plain background.”This includes photographing clothes on hangers, and including close-up photos of hangtags, “patterns, trims, or textured materials.” For shoes, make sure to take photos at all angles, “top, sides, and soles.” For bags, be certain to show the interior and exterior. Especially if an item is used, be transparent and photograph all “flaws and scuffs.”Create an effective title.“Titles affect how your item will show up in search results, so remember to include important keywords like the brand name, size, or other descriptors that a buyer might look for.”Write a detailed listing.“Accurate descriptions help your buyers shop with confidence. Be sure to describe the condition of your item, including the brand, style, and model number, and be upfront about any flaws or if the item is pre-owned.”Determine the best price.“On ebay.com, search for active listings or sold items to see what your item (or one that’s similar) is selling for. That will help determine a fair price for both you and the buyer.”Make a competitive price. “Buyers are often searching for items that have a low combined price and shipping charge, so price your items competitively and you’ll get the best results.”Read more from Yahoo Style + Beauty:•15 Picture-Perfect Nonfloral Dresses for Summer •‘Handmaid’s Tale’ Star Elisabeth Moss: ‘Saying You’re Not a Feminist Is Like Saying You’re Not a Human Being’ •5 Shops Where You Can Buy a Stylish Wedding Dress for $52 … Really!Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest for nonstop inspiration delivered fresh to your feed, every day. In a recent attempt to do some spring-cleaning, I decided it was time to comb through my ever-overflowing wardrobe and clear out the excess. Shirts, skirts, jeans, and jacket — it was all fair game. But despite my best Kondo-esque intentions, my closet remained completely stuffed. Let’s just say that, somehow, no fewer than 36 pairs of jeans remained in my possession — and I’m not even going to get into the other stuff. Turns out I’m a total trend hoarder. Who knows when those baby blue high-waisted wide-legs will come back en vogue? And what about my distressed gray jeggings: Those could be vintagey-cool someday, right? Right??Clearly, I have a problem — and I know I’m not the only one. (Go ahead, admit it!) So I enlisted some trusty experts to help me — and you — figure out what items and trends are worth keeping this season and which deserve a sartorial sayonara. Click through for their answers. Gisele Bündchen has been sitting pretty as the Stuart Weitzman brand’s campaign star for the past few seasons. Hadid and Smalls both took to social media to share the sexy image, which pictures the trio stark naked, save for a pair of Stuart Weitzman sandals, all looking very serene in a three-way embrace, which is probably a great way to keep warm while posing in the nude.

In theory, you love over-the-knee boots. They caught your eye in Gisele Bundchen’s Stuart Weitzman ads last year. Then Raf Simons sent lucite-heeled patent leather ones down Dior’s AW15 runway, and now you’re noticing some version in nearly every store. You want them, and yet, you’re not quite sure how to wear them without looking like, well, a little bit slutty.

L.L. Bean is increasing its production and intends to make half a million duck boots this season, and if you’re not lucky enough to get your hands (and feet!) on a pair, you’ll have to wait until next year. The American heritage brand refuses to alter how the boots are made (hand stitched in Maine) in order to accommodate the surge in orders, but don’t fret. Here are over a dozen alternatives — some more fashion forward than others — so you can protect yourself from the elements all winter long. According to Polyvore, searches for thigh-high boots have increased 55% over the last two months, while searches for over-the-knee boots are up a staggering 89%. And of the top 10 most searched boots, 5 are variations on over-knee and thigh-high styles. This all adds up to one thing: If you aren’t eyeing a pair yet, you’re late. The sharp increase in popularity makes sense — not only is the style a longtime runway and celeb favorite, but women are finally realizing it doesn’t take model-thin legs to wear them (especially not when you buy a pair in blessedly stretchy fabrics). More importantly, the fact that thigh-high boots are reaching critical mass means they’re now more associated with stylish women than, well, Pretty Woman. (Take it from someone who tried the trend in 2007, only to fend off plenty of colorful comments — this was not always the case.)So, the only question now is: Which pair are you going to buy? We rounded up 19 best examples we could find, in every height and style, for any budget.
