French model Thylane Blondeau first made headlines as a little girl, walking the Jean Paul Gaultier runway when she was just 4 years old. Then, at 6, she starred on the cover of “Vogue Enfants” – a supplement that ran in “Vogue Paris” featuring children’s fashion. It was then that the media began to call her the “most beautiful girl in the world.”
First daughter Ivanka Trump wore a Jason Wu blue sheath dress on Monday, and the color of Melania's dress was reminiscent of her inaugural outfit.
In Israel, Melania Trump stunned in what is possibly a $4,498 Dolce & Gabbana ruffled lace and tulle midi dress.
An entire college cheerleading team has been suspended from cheering due to an investigation that some work as strippers.
Michael Kors is one of the big shows of NYFW, so you expect a big crowd — and he did not disappoint this time. Emily Ratajkowski, Amanda Peet, Blake Lively … A gaggle of fashion fashion gals showed, including Margaret Zhang, Aimee Song, and Gala Gonzalez. Kendall Jenner closed the show in a strapless fringed gown with sequin embroidery.
The 74th Annual Golden Globes kicked off award season with a bang Sunday night. At the first award show of 2017, many celebs chose to depart from the typical red carpet look. Everything from menswear-inspired suits to borderline wedding gowns made an appearance.
Fashion is cyclical — wear a trend before it achieves mass appeal, and you’ll look cool and fashion-forward. To help you know the difference, we asked Polyvore to deep-dive into its search data, and tell us which dress styles spiked in 2015 — and which ones are fading faster than a summer tan in September.

I knew the fashion world was desperately in need of a change this summer when I spotted several men at the airport in Ibiza wearing jeggings. Yes, that skinny denim staple we girls have worn because the tight fit and cropped ankle make us feel long and lean even on our “feeling fat” days has apparently been co-opted by the boys — and not just in Europe. So when the marathon march that is spring 2016 fashion month arrived, I decided I was going to ditch my skinny jeans for a more relaxed fit. Well, apparently the rest of the fashion world got the memo too, because every chic girl from New York to Paris was sporting baggier, patchier, Mom-style-meets-’70s Jane Birkin-esque jeans.
Let the (hunger) games begin! The first red carpet for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 took place on Wednesday night in Berlin, Germany. Jennifer Lawrence wore a Dior gown with armpit cutouts. Shockingly enough, Natalie Dormer’s Roland Mouret dress had the funny feature too.
The dashing Daniel Craig has reprised his role as James Bond for the fourth time in the upcoming Spectre, which has already broken box office records in the UK. And while we can’t wait to see the nail-biting action sequences (brilliantly imagined by director Sam Mendes), Bond’s impeccable style is also a draw. While Brioni outfitted the Bonds of yore, Mendes called his pal Tom Ford to design the well-tailored suits this time around. But it’s not just Craig interpretation of the character that has caught our eye — Pierce Brosnan, Sean Connery, and Timothy Dalton were quite to-do as well.
The top color trends of fall 2015. You’d think fall color trends were as constant as the pumpkin-spice latte. But the truth is, they change pretty dramatically from year to year. We asked Polyvore to share its hottest fall color searches for the last few years, and the results say a lot about the way trends rise and fall — and give us a hint about what the color for fall 2016 might be.

Brands like Marc Jacobs, Gucci, and even Céline showed romantic, lush, overwhelmingly rich clothes. There was brocade, embroidery, fur, ruffles, sequins. Long gowns, billowing pants, silk pajama suits, and full sleeves celebrated the drama of fashion, the pure joy of an aspirational runway.

Even though I’m not as young as I used to be, I still love the color pink like I did when I was a child. Fortunately the hue, in its various blushy shades, is a big color for fall thanks to designers like Altuzarra and Calvin Klein Collection (who sent light as air furs down the runway) as well as Acne and Rachel Comey. That means that in-the-know fashion types will soon be able to float through winter looking like little stylish puffs of cotton candy (what’s cuter than that against a snowy backdrop?) Here are nine coats — and tips on how to wear them — that will have you feeling pretty in pink the whole season through.
When you’re traveling, the right bag is essential, and nothing looks better than a perfectly aged brown leather duffle bag. With Labor Day just around the corner, these 15 options will be the perfect investment piece that’ll only get better with age. Yesterday, Bloomberg reported that Michael Kors stock lost half its value in 2015, as sales of its once-hot handbags drops. Coach’s sales have been falling since 2014, too. Meanwhile, Kate Spade’s stock is up, a move analysts attribute to “de-emphasizing the handbag” in favor of apparel and other accessories. For a certain kind of girl — ones more likely to emulate Lauren Conrad or Reese Witherspoon than the runways — a Michael Kors or Kate Spade handbag was the ultimate status symbol.
Clogs are currently having a resurgence for fall, thanks to designers like Michael Kors and Alessandro Michele of Gucci. The season’s modernized versions are currently at the top of every editor’s shopping list! Here are 13 cool and stylish clogs that you can pair with your perfect A-line skirt for an update ’70s chic look. Perhaps clogs are the new Birkenstocks?
Photo: Courtesy Michael Kors, who was recently named a United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) Global Ambassador Against Hunger for his ongoing efforts in philanthropy, has announced that actress Kate Hudson will be joining him on his mission to feed hungry children. The two longtime friends, who attended the 2015 Met Gala together and once physically collided in an airport, are pairing up in support of Watch Hunger Stop, a charitable campaign launched by Kors in 2013 in partnership with the WFP: Each time someone purchases one of the designer’s 100 Series watches, 100 needy children receive a healthy meal from WFP’s School Meals Program. Said Hudson, “As a mother, I can’t think of anything more important than raising a healthy and educated generation of children, and WFP’s School Meals Program is committed to exactly that. Further promoting the Watch Hunger Stop campaign with the release of two limited-edition styles of the Michael Kors Bradshaw watch (as worn by Hudson and Kors, above) in October — the sales of which will also provide food to needy kids the world over.
Amidst all the over-the-top trends that emerged during fashion month— think bejeweled headphones, face jewelry, and Looney Tunes characters— a quieter change was taking place on an often overlooked part of the body often in fashion: the arms. This was popular in Victorian times, characterized by a voluminous detail near the shoulder, which tapers down into the wrist—you know, it looks like a leg of mutton, and if you don’t know what a mutton means, it’s a lamb! The mutton continued to make an appearance on runways in London, at Simone Rocha, in Milan at Marni and Jil Sander, and in Paris at Miu Miu and Louis Vuitton, but it’s not the only shape that designers have in mind for us next season. The extra-long sleeve, one that’s four to five inches longer than your finger tips, the one that makes you feel the coziest when you hide your arms inside it, and maybe you pretend you are a ghost with the sleeves hanging limply over your hands, was also a major contender this season, showing up in the collections of everyone from The Row, to Giorgio Armani, to Stella McCartney.
The easiest way to look like a model? Other than starving yourself, look miserable at all times. For some reason, a death stare (or resting bitch face) is the reigning look on the runway. Models should not smile or blink, they should be silently willing all the photographers to die in a fire, all the editors to slip on banana peels, they hate their lives, even with their hair done to the nines while wearing the most expensive clothes on the planet—and they want you to know it.
Backstage at Michael Kors, I watched on as makeup artist Dick Page demonstrated the makeup look in great detail to his team before the show. The natural, healthy face was created using Michael Kors beauty products as well as a few items from MAC, but the thing that interested me was his use of brown gel eyeliner.
There might not be a lot of makeup on this season’s runways, but there are plenty of supermodels to make up for that fact. New York, London, Milan, and Paris have all welcomed faces we’ve missed, from red-headed Maggie Rizer at Michel Kors to angel-faced Gemma Ward at Prada and Gisele Bundchen herself at Chanel, this is one trend we’re happy to get behind. Here are our favorite supermodel surprises.
