File this under why-didn't-I-think-of-it-first-and-make-enough-to-buy-my-own-private-island: 3floz.com, the website that found its niche selling airport-sized luxury beauty products, is now taking a more direct approach by placing vending machines (packed with stuff like SuperSmile Powdered Mouthrinse and Serge Normant shampoos) in airports such as JFK in New York City and McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. They plan to launch in at least 125 more locations by the end of 2014.

It really is about time someone did this. Because let's get real--mini products are the best. Funneling your Oscar Blandi conditioner into a travel-size container and dripping it all over your bathroom is hell. (Or at least, a privileged version of it). It's also nearly impossible to remember every lotion and mask when you're packing, so having a pre-boarding vending machine shopping spree is a great back-up plan. And even if you do remember each product in your routine, some derivative of Murphy's Law states that if the T.S.A. can plausibly take it away, they will. How reassuring is it to know that when your Molton Brown shower gel gets confiscated by the uniformed lady on a power trip, you can just grab another?
