I exercise: A few times per week.
My usual reaction to fitness DVDs is: I love exercising to DVDs, but the DVD needs to be fast-moving and effective in order to keep my attention.

Jackie Werner Crunch-Free Xtreme Abs

On a scale of barely sweat to totally-kick-butt, this workout is: Totally kick abs.
The equipment I needed was: I used a mat for the second workout of the DVD.
The next day I felt: My ab muscles were sore.
The instructor was: A little annoying, but definitely very effective.
I'd recommend this DVD to: Anyone looking to tone their ab muscles. This is a great workout to add to your rotation.
I would absolutely do this workout again: I plan to add this to my workout program and do it about three times per week.

Zumba Fitness Total Body Transformation System

On a scale of barely sweat to totally-kick-butt, this workout is: Barely sweat. This isn't really that difficult a workout; although it can be a bit challenging to follow the moves.
The equipment I needed was: Nothing, except for the toning DVD, when I used the included toning sticks.
The next day I felt: The tiniest bit sore.
The instructor was: Super cheesy.
I'd recommend this DVD to: Someone who likes to dance, but doesn't want a high impact workout.
I would probably not do this workout again: It really wasn't my type of workout.

INSANITY Fast & Furious: 20 Minute Maximum Fitness Results Workout

On a scale of barely sweat to totally-kick-butt, this workout is: Insanity indeed. This is totally kick butt.
The equipment I needed was: Water, water, and more water.
The next day I felt: Totally sore. I could hardly lift my arms.
The instructor was: Great - he's tough, but very effective.
I'd recommend this DVD to: This is a fabulous DVD that's perfect if you are short on time but want a kick-butt workout.
I would absolutely do this workout again: It's so effective in just 20 minutes!

Kettlebell workout DVD with Bob Harper

On a scale of barely sweat to totally-kick-butt, this workout is: Good, solid.
The equipment I needed was: The included 7 lb. kettlebell; although I could have used a heavier one
The next day I felt: Pretty sore in my quads.
The instructor was: Awesome. Who doesn't love Bob Harper?
I'd recommend this DVD to: Anyone who wants to get started with kettlebells.
I would do this workout again: Although I plan to graduate to Bob's other kettlebell workout DVDs soon.
