I describe my fitness level as: Slightly above average for a 37-year-old woman.
I exercise: A few times per week.
My usual reaction to fitness DVDs is: I love exercising to DVDs, but the DVD needs to be fast-moving and effective in order to keep my attention.
Jackie Werner Crunch-Free Xtreme Abs
On a scale of barely sweat to totally-kick-butt, this workout is: Totally kick abs.
The equipment I needed was: I used a mat for the second workout of the DVD.
The next day I felt: My ab muscles were sore.
The instructor was: A little annoying, but definitely very effective.
I'd recommend this DVD to: Anyone looking to tone their ab muscles. This is a great workout to add to your rotation.
I would absolutely do this workout again: I plan to add this to my workout program and do it about three times per week.
Zumba Fitness Total Body Transformation System
On a scale of barely sweat to totally-kick-butt, this workout is: Barely sweat. This isn't really that difficult a workout; although it can be a bit challenging to follow the moves.
The equipment I needed was: Nothing, except for the toning DVD, when I used the included toning sticks.
The next day I felt: The tiniest bit sore.
The instructor was: Super cheesy.
I'd recommend this DVD to: Someone who likes to dance, but doesn't want a high impact workout.
I would probably not do this workout again: It really wasn't my type of workout.
