Wow--Kate Middleton Looks so Much like Her WWII Spy Grandmother!

As if the news that Kate Middleton had a grandmother who was a spy wasn't enough to blow your Duchess-loving mind, the fact they she looks just like her is enough to send us all into a coma this morning. I hope you've all had your coffee.


Behold the picture Clarence House sent out of Duchess Catherine's paternal grandmother, Valerie (maiden name Glassborow).

And above is the shot of her we were so mesmerized by just yesterday while she was out honoring her grandmother and celebrating completion of the the restoration of Bletchley Park, the government code and cypher school's top-secret headquarters during World War II.

According to the Bletchley Park press release, though little is known about the specific work she did, Glassborow worked "alongside her twin sister, Mary Glassborow. Both were Foreign Office Civilians in the Cover Management Y section, which managed the interception of enemy signals for decryption at Bletchley Park."

Such an interesting twist--and just another reason to be fascinated with everything Middleton.
