I've been so busy documenting the magical wind-repelling powers of Kate Middleton's hair that I somehow seemed to have neglected to notice Duchess Catherine also happens to have some of the best skin on the planet. But this shot of her taken in Australia yesterday makes that plainly clear.
Middleton is famously low-key about her makeup (she's a DIY kind of girl), but she seems to be a little fussier about her skin care. There have been rumors that at the urging of her mother-in-law Camilla Parker-Bowles, she's been getting bee vemon facials, which are thought to plump the skin much the way a bee sting would. And it's been said that she's a big fan of Karin Herzog's line--the company recently suggested that the Duchess might have packed the Professional Cleansing Gel, the Oxygen Face Cream, her favorite Essential Mask, and the Vitamin H Cream for extra hydration. The products are a little pricey (they range from about $45 to $70), but for the more budget-minded, here's a bit of good news: Back in 2011, she was spotted buying Nivea's Visage Pure and Natural Moisturising Day Cream at a Boots store, which is unfortunately sold only in the U.K., but you can occasionally find on Amazon.
