Robyn Lawley is one of the most beautiful and successful models working right now, but even she knows what it's like to be criticized for her appearance.

The 24-year-old Australian "plus size model" appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to discuss the online harassment she received when her photo was used on a Facebook page promoting the "thigh gap" - the space between one's thighs that is used as a motivator for weight loss and dieting.

Commenters called her names like "pig" and insulted her size 12 body, despite her beautiful, healthy physique. Robyn hasn't let rude comments make her feel bad - in fact, she's used it to fuel her own confidence and inspire others to do the same.

"I'm more about finding your set natural weight and just being happy at that weight," she says.

She wants the fashion industry to change and begin showing a variety of shapes, sizes and ages in advertisements and in fashion shows. She's doing her part by speaking out on these unrealistic beauty expectations of women, and by launching her own line of stylish swimwear that fits women sizes 8 through 18.

"The more I say I love my body, it actually works," she tells Ellen. "It makes a positive rebound effect, and you start loving your body."
