A series of video clips posted to Forever 21's Instagram show the stars shaking and dancing dressed in the collection's pieces, which are styled with basic crop tops and hoop earrings.

It has not been a great week to be Forever 21. This time, they've piqued the ire of Frank Ocean. According to Pitchfork, Frank took to his Tumblr to post a screenshot of the fast-fashion retailer allegedly copying his font used on the cover of his latest record. Forever 21 will drag everyone back to the early 2000’s even if mass kicking and screaming commences. The brand is trying to sell customers Von Dutch trucker hats as if there aren’t already three gathering dust in the back of my closet underneath a Gap hoodie, a mood ring, and 35 spaghetti strap tank tops. Some customers may be too young to remember a pre-Ibiza DJing Paris Hilton and That 70’s Show-era Ashton Kutcher, but those who grew up back in simpler times (like when The Simple Life was on TV), know exactly how long it’s taken to leave these boxy, mesh monstrosities in the past. Trucker hats, you are not welcome in 2017. The idea of nostalgia has descended so deeply into fashion that Forever 21 even sells socks printed with 90s era cell phones. The last time Von Dutch was trendy, Brie Larson was 13-years-old.

Forever 21’s ‘I Feel Like Pizza Graphic Tee’ is being accused of being stolen from another designer. In the past few months Forever 21 has been hit with countless plagiarism accusations: Back in August, Emily Oberg, an editorial producer at Complex, accused the retailer of ripping off her company’s design; a month before that, the company was accused of plagiarizing Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo-inspired merchandise. Now, in the latest allegation, the retailer has been slammed by Marta Freedman, the owner of popular Instagram account Hot Girls Eating Pizza, for allegedly ripping off her Kanye West–inspired design.

Many women have fallen in — and out of — love with Forever 21. Goldman Sachs and Teen Vogue recently polled fashion influencers — or “it girls,” as the survey dubbed them — ages 13-29. Apparently, they not only like Forever 21 — they love it. Forever 21 came in at number 8 on the list of brands that matter to fashion-forward “It Girls.” The retailer topped the survey’s ‘Love List,’ which ranked brands based on their respective levels of familiarity and affinity, as well as how much people talked about the respective brands.

Teenagers are incredibly fickle (at least that’s what I’ve discovered from being one, living with a few, and following a few hundred on Tumblr and Twitter). With 25 million Instagram followers and offering bras, underwear, bathing suits, and exercise clothes all in bright colors and fun silhouettes, the company has a stronghold over the lingerie market.

By Lindsay PeoplesThere are two good reasons to buy leather motorcycle jackets: They never go out of style, and they get better with age. But there’s also one good reason to hold off: the price. It can be hard to find an affordable moto jacket that’s made from quality materials, but we’ve done the work for you. A sleek faux-leather jacket with removable fur from Forever 21 not only costs under $50, but is also thin enough to layer over all your chunky knits and turtlenecks. Or so she alleges in a lawsuit filed in Detroit’s federal court. Elizabeth DeLorean started working at the clothing and accessories company in 2002 as a 20-something who would dine on health-conscious microwaveable meals during her lunch break. “Then it would get a little more intense, things like, at a performance review ‘whatever happened to the girl who would bring in her Lean Cuisine for lunch every day?’” Coach insists the 35-year-old’s poor performance was the only factor involved in her firing, but DeLorean is seeking unspecified damages for lost employment and distress. Yes, being laid off because of your body is totally harsh, but it might not be the worst reason for getting the ax. Pregnant Nasty Gal employees got the ax instead of maternity leave. Shortly after Aimee Concepcion told her supervisor she had a bun in the vintage-covered oven, she was terminated, despite positive performance reviews.
