While we best know her disrupting school plays as Cassie Howard in Euphoria and thumbing through The Probable Neitzche as Olivia Mossbacher in The White Lotus, IRL, Sydney Sweeney can usually be found in her garage, working on vintage cars. She even documented the restoration of her dream car, a red 1969 Ford Bronco, on TikTok (@sydsgarage). So it only makes sense that the actress has teamed up with Ford and Dickies to design a new, limited-edition workwear line.

The four-piece collection includes bib overalls, work pants, a bandanna, and a corduroy baseball cap. Each item is stamped with a Ford x Sydney Sweeney patch, which reads “Syd’s Garage.” The work pant, a spin on the Dickies Original 847 pant, is constructed with a band that can be flipped down to reveal the iconic Ford and Dickies logos. The bandana comes in a soft baby blue, while the cap is designed with a khaki cord base, pink patch, and baby blue rim.

In a March 22 interview, Sydney told Vogue that collaborating with Ford was a no-brainer. “I grew up driving Fords and in a family of mechanics,” she said. “So being able to be part of a campaign that empowers young women — I’m really proud of that.”

The restoration of her 1969 Bronco began while she filmed Euphoria, where she’d swap mini skirts and heels for t-shirts and overalls. “I would go to my best friend’s shop after we would wrap for the day. I felt at home there,” she continued. “So when Ford came to me, I was so excited. I wore overalls in the shop every single day when I worked on my Bronco. This is very genuine.”

In an April 2022 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Sydney opened up about the unexpectedness of her hobby and hopes that it inspires others to question and deconstruct traditional gender roles.

“I think people just have to not be afraid of putting themselves in a male-dominated environment,” she shared. “Like, I know that there's so much I have to learn, and I think it's okay to not know everything. You only learn if you are there and you're putting yourself there, so I think if we just support women and push them to try harder and challenge themselves, we'll get there.”

BRB, shopping the entire Ford x Sydney Sweeney collection (and, while we’re at it, the Frankie’s Bikinis X Sydney Sweeney collab, too — RIP, wallet.)
