The Swiss Miss Lucky Charms Marshmallow-Filled Hot Cocoa Mix Is Officially on Shelves

Back in February, we found out that Swiss Miss’ Lucky Charm Hot Cocoa Mix would coming out in June. That seemed like forever away, but check your calendar! The new variety has just been spotted on shelves, which is our green light to stalk our own grocery stores.
Instagram account @candyhunting was sent a picture from @chopsticksandfork showing the new hot chocolate at Stop & Shop. What makes this mix so special is that instead of your typical marshmallows, this is filled with ones from Lucky Charms. So you can expect those classic shapes, including hearts, clovers horseshoes, shooting stars, moons, rainbows, and unicorns, floating in your mug.

It’s update time (already)! A PR rep with Lucky Charms just confirmed to Best Products that the Swiss Miss Lucky Charms variety will hit shelves in June 2020. Each box ($2.99) will include six 1.38-ounce Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa Mix and six packets of Lucky Charms Marshmallows, so you can control how many marshmallows you want in your warm sip. Obviously, we’re going to pour them all in, but it’s nice to have the option, right?

Swiss Miss knows how important it is to have marshmallows in your hot chocolate. The brand has mixes with classic marshmallows, extra marshmallows, colorful marshmallows, and, most recently, unicorn-inspired marshmallows. Now Swiss Miss is partnering with Lucky Charms to make (what we already consider) the most fun marshmallow hot cocoa mix yet!
The magically delicious mix is made up of hot cocoa and marshmallows in the classic Lucky Charms shapes, including hearts, clovers, horseshoes, shooting stars, moons, rainbows, and unicorns. This variety might just be the thing to convince us to sip hot cocoa all year-round!
Instagram accounts @dadbodsnacks and @snackgator were among the first to post about pictures of the new Swiss Miss Lucky Charms, follow by @candyhunting. It appears that the hot cocoa mix was announced by Conagra Brands at Consumer Analyst Group New York’s conference (CAGNY 2020) in Boca Raton. Best Products reached out to a PR rep with Lucky Charms on Feb. 20, but has yet to hear back.
Along with the Swiss Miss Lucky Charms, the brand announced a white chocolate flavor and non-dairy chocolate mix. People are already over the moon specifically about the white chocolate sip. “Team white chocolate ALL THE WAY,” one person commented. “Omg! White chocolate; I wonder if it’ll taste like my beloved Dunkin’ white chocolate hot chocolate,” wrote another.
The only bad news here is that we have no idea when these products will be hitting shelves … or if they’re 100% happening. Since they were announced at CAGNY 2020, they couldn’t possibly rip our hearts out now, right? We’ll keep you updated, of course, because if there’s one thing we all deserve, it’s hot chocolate with Lucky Charms marshmallows.
