If you spent the long (emphasis on the long) weekend lounging on the sofa, binge-watching your fave TV shows and eating more Easter eggs than you care to count then, same. But, whilst we were busy becoming one with our sofas, the Royal Family were out in full force attending the annual Easter Service at St George's Chapel in Windsor.

And it was during that very service that Prince George took centre stage – although, we were too consumed by chocolate to notice. Oops!

ICYMI – like we did – George was joined by the whole Wales family at the service, as well as King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla, and other royals including Princess Anne, Princess Beatrice and Zara Tindall.

After the service, the royals headed outside to greet the clergy, with Prince William and Kate Middleton letting George lead the way. The future King then went on to shake the clergy's hand, thanking him for the service, prompting royal fans to take to social media to comment on the impressive move.

"I think he's starting to realise his place in the RF and is watching and learning how his parents go about it and knows he has their support. It's great to see how confident he's becoming!" one fan said on Twitter of the sweet moment, as another wrote: "He just confidently walks in front of his parents and comfortably shakes hands with good eye contact."

"This young Prince is developing into a mannerly and kind hearted young man. Proud of this family," a third royal fan tweeted, with someone else chiming in with: "He’s got the hang of it. The future of the monarchy is in good hands with Prince George."

We can't wait to see more of George at the upcoming coronation of King Charles III!
