Chances are that you’ve had the classic Swedish Fish candies at some point in your life. They may or may not be lingonberry-flavored and may or may be not be cherry-flavored, but whatever they are, they’re sure tasty. In an unexpected move by Frankford Candy, you can now get Swedish Fish Marshmallows. S’mores just got … interesting.

Thanks to Instagram accounts like @sna_ckfoodie and @junkpickers, we know that this new treat exists before the brand has even announced it. As described on the packaging, the Swedish Fish Marshmallows taste like the actual candy. It appears that they’re made up of the regular marshmallows that are covered in a Swedish Fish-flavored coating.

So far, the Swedish Fish Marshmallows have been spotted at Walmart in 7-ounce bags. While we can’t say for certain how much bigger the marshmallows are versus the original candy, it’s clear that there’s a big difference. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can swap these sweet marshmallows into your s’mores-making.

In 2019, Frankford Candy unveiled Sour Patch Kids Marshmallows in five flavors: Blue Raspberry, Redberry, Orange, Lime, and Lemon. While it’s been some time since then, it looks like the brand is starting a trend … whether it’s a good one or not is up to you, but it’s too wild to not give it a try!
