Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandon is selling the stunning New York City duplex she's called home for nearly 30 years. Located on West 15th Street in Chelsea, the apartment is on the market for $7.9 million.

In 1991, Sarandon bought the home with actor Tim Robbins, her husband at the time. After Sarandon and Robbins split in 2011, she gained full ownership of the 6,061-square-foot loft. But now that her kids have moved out, the native New Yorker (she grew up in Queens) is moving to a smaller place nearby.

The apartment is part of a nine-story co-op that was once an to be an industrial building built in the 1920s. Sarandon and Robbins merged two units in the building, connecting them with a staircase. The 2-story duplex features six bedrooms, and five full baths, one half bath, and an outdoor terrace. Enormous windows throughout the open apartment bring in lots of natural light and offer breathtaking views of Manhattan. Read on to take a look inside the stunning home.

The enormous living space has a curved staircase that was used as seating to watch when celebrity dance performances and Sarandon's children's performances.

The most notable room of the entire duplex? The cobalt blue guest bathroom where Sarandon has displayed all of her awards, including her Oscar for Dead Man Walking. “I thought it was kind of funny to keep them in the bathroom,” the actress tells the WSJ. “When people come out of the bathroom, I expect them to be laughing but they don’t say a thing. Maybe they think I’m taking it seriously.”
