This summer, the bride will probably still be in white, but the wedding decor is more likely to be dusted with gold or silver. Metallics are currently on every bride’s centerpiece wish list, according to celebrity wedding planner Colin Cowie.
“Who can resist a little bit of sparkle?” he says.
And if you think going all gold, silver, or rose gold is too much, make it an accent. “Metallic accents are popping up in all different kinds of wedding details and are certainly getting guests’ attention!” Cowie says. “From wedding invitations to mirrored table tops, mirrored runners, and reflective vases, this is one trend that’s going to shine bright in 2016.”
