Suki Waterhouse is not sure what era she’s in and neither are we.

The model and actress attended The Hollywood Reporter‘s Next Gen 2016 Celebration at Nightingale Nov. 9 in a western-hippie look we can’t quite describe. Her Roberto Cavalli Canadian tuxedo consisted of a blue jacket and flared pants, both with 1960s-style flower power embroidery. Her ruffled print shirt matched the suit.

The outfit was very cowgirl-enters-a-time-machine-and-exits-in-the-1970s. But things got even more complicated. Her chunky brown belt with blue stones was very 2000s, and the layers of chokers may be on trend these days, but the look originated in the 1990s. On top of all that, she added a red snakeskin handbag.

We’re dizzy.

Put it all together and what do you get? A modern-day cowgirl … perhaps inspired by HBO’s new hit “Westworld”?

Wherever Waterhouse got the idea, the look is kind of like a Monet, as Cher Horowitz would describe it: “From far away, it’s OK, but up close, it’s a big old mess.”
