Congratulations are in order for Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Taylor, who has revealed she is expecting a second baby with husband Phil Black.

The actress and comedian, who is also well known for starring in Ted Lasso, shared the happy news on her Instagram account while posting a picture of her daughter looking at her growing baby bump.

Captioning the post with the words: "Excited. Terrified. Grateful. Hungry," Ellie also wrote a note about her pregnancy.

"Ratbag No 2 – inbound," she quipped. "Pregnancy has been a funny old topic for me over the last few years and I've sometimes found it tricky following prego people online.

"For anyone in a similar headspace, if the idea of the inevitable baby spam that will follow makes you feel a bit weird, then I lovingly encourage you to be kind to your brainbox and mute or unfollow me.

"I hope you'll be back but whatever your situation, I wish you love and clarity as you continue to navigate your own journey xxx."

Ellie appeared on last year's series of Strictly, and has been keeping busy since, recently landing the job of co-host of Bake Off: The Professionals, taking over from Stacey Solomon, as well as co-host of Netflix's Cheat alongside Danny Dyer.

She has also joined the voice cast of Sonic the Hedgehog spin-off series Knuckles, appearing alongside Idris Elba and Game of Thrones’ Rory McCann.

Meanwhile, last year Ellie revealed her daughter asked her "awkward" questions about her partnership with dancer Johannes Radebe on Strictly.

"She’s a bit confused by that," she told The Jonathan Ross Show. "She gets sad that Johannes and I don’t finish our dances with a kiss."

Strictly Come Dancing returns for its launch special on September 16 on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
