‘Stranger Things’ Star Joseph Quinn (AKA Eddie) Has One Word to Describe the Season Finale: ‘Carnage’

As the premiere date for Stranger Things 4 Vol. 2 steadily approaches, some cast members have been teasing what fans should expect from the big finale. Joseph Quinn, who plays Eddie Munson, used one scary word to describe the epic season finale: “carnage. ”

In an exclusive interview with The Guardian, the 29-year-old actor gave a small glimpse into what’s to come in the final chapter. “All the seeds that have been planted near fruit and it’s just carnage. You know the finale is two-and-a-half hours, right? Ending with this monster, feature-length episode is so bold.”

Quinn’s character instantly became a fan favorite amongst viewers in the fourth season. Hailed as the leader of the infamous Hellfire Club, Munson soon finds himself in trouble after being blamed for Vecna’s crimes.

Speaking of the season finale, actor Noah Schnapp (who plays Will) warned fans should expect some character deaths in the second volume. While appearing on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, the young actor revealed there will be “some deaths,” and “some gore and a big bang.” (Time to get the tissues ready...)

Since its release, Stranger Things 4 has continued to break numerous streaming records on the platform. Last week, the show became the most popular English-language TV series of all time. And as of its fourth week, the fourth season has been viewed for a total of 883.3 million hours, which is a first for an English-language series during that period. The series has officially dethroned Bridgerton as the most popular English-language show on Netflix.
