Miranda Lambert has moved on to a new man and may be the reason he ended his marriage.
Lambert, 34, is reportedly dating Evan Felker, 34, who she has been spending a lot of time with on tour. His band, Turnpike Troubadours, has been opening for Lambert’s Livin’ Like Hippies tour.
“They are very much involved,” a source told Us Weekly.
When the tour began in June, both were with their former lovers. Lambert was dating Anderson East, 29, and Felker was married to Staci Nelson, who he wed in September 2016.
The source revealed that the two taken singers “started spending a lot more time together while on the road,” and that things just “happened” between them.
Felker’s marriage seems to have ended as a result of the tour he was on with Lambert.
“Staci had no other choice but to file for divorce,” the insider told Us Weekly. “She was devastated.”
Radar Online reports that Nelson's reason for divorce was “abandonment.”
“Petitioner alleges that a state of complete and irreconcilable incompatibility has arisen between the parties, by virtue of Respondent’s abandonment of Petitioner, which has completely destroyed the legitimate aims of the marriage and rendered its continuation impossible,” Nelson’s petition for divorce read.
Another source that is close to Felker voiced a different story, though.
According to this source, Felker filed for divorce before his estranged ex-wife did. He filed on Feb. 16, just a month into the Livin’ Like Hippies tour and 12 days ahead of Nelson. He allegedly denied abandoning her, but admitted that a “state of complete and irreconcilable incompatibility has arisen between the parties.”
Lambert called it quits with her boyfriend of two years and a friend close to the “Vice” singer said it was because the couple was “spending a lot of time apart.”
"There's a true admiration there and a large level of understanding on both sides, for sure," East told In Style back in January. "It's always difficult to be a traveling musician and still keep things together. Understanding is a huge factor."
The two-time Grammy Award winner has not been seen in public with East since the 2017 CMA Awards last November, Pop Culture writes. East has not been mentioned on her social media since January.
Lambert spoke about the break up while accepting her award for her song “Tin Man” at the ACMs April 15.
“Thank you guys so much for sharing my broken heart with me,” she said in her speech.
Their constant time apart may be behind their split, though she has found a new beau fairly quickly.
Lambert has a habit of moving on quickly. She began dating East just months after she divorced Blake Shelton in 2015.
Before that, she began pursuing Shelton while he was still married to Kaynette Williams.
"I had seen their wedding picture in Country Weekly," Lambert confessed on Dateline NBC. “I knew better, like this is off limits ... Because my parents are private investigators, for God's sakes. I've seen this my whole life, affairs. And I'm like, 'if of all people didn't know better, I know better than this.'"
Her attraction to married men has struck again, this time with Felker.
