Stormy Daniels Was Arrested for Allegedly Letting Cops Motorboat Her at a Show in Ohio

Stormy Daniels has been touring the country with her "Make America Horny Again" show, taking advantage of the buzz around her alleged affair with Donald Trump while simultaneously rubbing his nose in it. But on Wednesday night, while performing in Columbus Ohio, Daniels was reportedly arrested by undercover police officers attending in the audience.

Daniels' lawyer, the combative Michael Avenatti, responded quickly on social media:

It's true that under Ohio law it's illegal for non-family members to "non-sexually" touch a partially-dressed dancer, but although it seems like that law is designed to protect the dancers, it isn't. If that happens, it's the dancer who gets arrested, not whoever touched them. So it is possible that Daniels could have been arrested if she hadn't stopped a patron from touching her.

Some reports say that Daniels grabbed an undercover cop by the butt, and others say, as Vice summed up in a headline, "Stormy Daniels was arrested for allegedly slapping undercover police officers with her breasts." Per the New York Times, Avenatti commented, "My understanding is that a number of undercover officers were female, which was not unusual to my client because a huge number of women are turning out to see her shows. And a couple of officers asked her to allow them to place their face in between her breasts.”

The arrest left many online wondering why multiple undercover cops were at Daniels' show, with Avenatti unequivocally calling it a set up. Even a former Trump aide said the arrest "reeks of entrapment." In any event, by Thursday afternoon, the charges were reportedly dropped.

The Columbus Dispatch reports that 25 people have been arrested under the same law in 2018, up from 16 and seven in the previous years. Two other women were arrested along with Daniels on Wednesday night.
