Steve Harvey Has Thoughts on Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan’s Split

News of Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan’s split broke over the weekend, and while neither Lori nor MBJ has commented on the reports, Lori’s dad, Steve Harvey, is out here chatting about it on his radio show.
“I’m team Lori, one thousand percent,” Steve said on The Steve Harvey Morning Show, per People. “She’s my daughter. I love her; I support her. Things happen. It’s hard to be young and in the limelight and have a successful relationship. Look, as long as everybody can walk away in peace, be friends…I ain’t heard nobody say they busted no windows or nothing. As long as you don’t put your hands on my daughter, I don’t give a damn what you do.”
It’s unclear exactly why Lori and Michael split, but a source told People over the weekend that they’re still in love and both heartbroken.
“Michael and Lori are both completely heartbroken,” the insider said. “They still love each other. Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term. He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time. They had great times together and brought out the best in each other.”
Since news of the split broke, Lori has deleted every picture of Michael from her Instagram but otherwise hasn’t made any comments.
