Steve Harvey Had an Epic Reaction to Meeting His Doppelgänger on 'Family Feud'

From Good Housekeeping

  • Steve Harvey shook hands with a Family Feud contestant last week named Paul Anthony who looked just like him.

  • The TV host quipped that the gameshow competitor was his "uncle."

With his iconic mustache and always-strong suit game, Steve Harvey is definitely a one-of-a-kind man. So when he came face to face with his doppelgänger on Family Feud recently, both the audience and Facebook Watch star himself were pretty stunned.

During a taping of the gameshow last week, a contestant named Paul Anthony came on looking just like the Miss Universe host. Immediately, Steve was taken aback as the two shook hands at the beginning of the round.

"I'll be d--ned. If I ain't looking at my uncle," Steve joked. "This ain't a family member right here." While they're not actually related, Paul clearly shares Steve's sense of humor; Paul told Steve that people tell him all the time he looks like a certain "famous handsome celebrity."

"I know. When I walked over here, I said, 'I'll be d--ned,'" Steve replied.

Steve was far from the only one seeing double. The uncanny resemblance also struck Family Feud viewers watching at home. "I thought that was Steve🤣," one fan wrote on Youtube. "They should do DNA test," another requested. Meanwhile, a different fan quipped, "He's looking into a mirror without a mirror."

As for Paul and the rest of the Anthony clan, they ended up losing to their opponents, the Skocy family. Even still, at least everyone got a kick out of Paul and Steve's resemblance. Who knows, maybe Steve will call Paul up to fill in for him from time to time ...
