Just when you thought that Midnight Sun might be the end of the Twilight saga, Stephenie Meyer just gave fans some MAJOR news.

During a Q&A event for her latest book, Stephenie revealed that she already has ideas for two more Twilight books and that the planning process has already started for both.

"There are two more books I think in the world that I want to write," she said during the Books-A-Million Q&A, according to ABC News. "I have got them outlined and a chapter written I think of the first one, so I know it's there. I am not ready to do that right now. I want to do something brand new."

If you've been reading Midnight Sun and are hoping to read more books from Edward's perspective, however, don't expect her to release another one.

"Remember that this is all going to work out for Edward and that someday, he’s going to be incredibly happy all the time," she exclusively told Seventeen about Midnight Sun. "Try not to think about his side of New Moon (which I will never, never try to write.)"

Fans who are expecting these books to come out soon will have to wait a little bit longer. She also revealed to Seventeen that she plans to take a step back from the Twilight world for a while.

"After finally getting finished with this book, I plan to spend a lot of time in other worlds where vampires don’t exist," she said. "I guess my hope is that I can finish another book in a lot less time."

With Midnight Sun selling over 1 million copies in its first week, there's no doubt that readers will be excited to see some more from Bella, Edward, Jacob and the rest of their favorite characters in the future.
