  • Stephen “tWitch” Boss broke his silence on allegations that The Ellen DeGeneres Show fostered a “toxic work environment” that involved bullying, racism, homophobia, sexism, and sexual misconduct.

  • tWitch said, “There’s been love.”

As the fallout from reports of the alleged “toxic work environment” at The Ellen DeGeneres Show continues, some of Ellen’s fellow famous friends (ahem, Katy Perry and Kevin Hart) have gushed about her and stood by her side.

Whereas previous statements from Ellen’s celeb friends sought to shut down criticism of the work culture and basically diminished several employees’ experiences because Ellen was nice to them, tWitch kept his comments relatively brief.

The dancer and DJ on Ellen’s show told Us Weekly:

“We can’t speak too much legally about it, but I’ll say this, there’s been love. Obviously there’s some things to address, but from my standpoint and from countless others, there’s been love. I’ll just leave it at that until there’s a time where we can address more publicly. There’s been love and there will continue to be love.”

He then added that he’s anxious to get back to work.

In July, Ellen responded to allegations of racism, homophobia, sexism, bullying, and sexual harassment on her set. She said:

“My name is on the show and everything we do and I take responsibility for that. Alongside Warner Bros., we immediately began an internal investigation and we are taking steps, together, to correct the issues. As we’ve grown exponentially, I’ve not been able to stay on top of everything and relied on others to do their jobs as they knew I’d want them done. Clearly some didn’t. That will now change and I’m committed to ensuring this does not happen again.”
