Staunton Is Looking for a Virginia Artist to Paint a New Mural

Virginia is for mural lovers.

The idyllic small town of Staunton, Virginia is looking for an artist to design a new mural "on a downtown wall that reflects the spirit and culture of Staunton."

Per NBC 29, Virginia Tourism Corporation has given Staunton a $10,000 50 Years of Love Grant — $7,000 of which will go to the art and artist, and the remaining funds will handle other administrative and sundry costs — to bring a vibrant new mural to Staunton's downtown area. (Staunton is about 45 minutes outside of Charlottesville.)
