The ladies of "Book Club" are back — and this time they're visiting one of our favorite destinations.

Icons Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen, and Mary Steenburgen — who played lifelong friends who discovered the novel "50 Shades of Grey" in the hysterical 2018 movie, — are taking their adventures to Italy for the film's sequel, "Book Club: The Next Chapter."

And while the film captures the four friends hilariously navigating their way through Rome together, it appears they had a pretty great time off-screen too.

"I was right next to the Medici garden and the Borghese gardens and I mean it's pretty cool to go walking with things that are hundreds and hundreds of years old," Fonda said of her time during an interview alongside her cast mates on Today this week. "I liked it a lot and I like pasta, too, and the gelato was pretty good."

To which Bergen noted she was surprised they didn't come home "over four hundred pounds."

"We were in Italy for two and a half months. That's pretty nice," the Murphy Brown star added.

During the morning show appearance — while sipping Aperol Spritzes — Bergen, Fonda, and Steenburgen all fondly remembered their time in Italy, and even showed a few Instagrams they snapped along the way. And it was Bergen who proved to be the most prolific on social media by documenting their meals, including an extravagant spaghetti in Rome, a tour down the canals in Venice, and even showed off the luxurious entrance of the Hotel Danieli.

Recounting Bergen's posts, Steenburgen recalled a funny memory of the two taking a pasta class alongside her husband, Ted Danson, who came along for the trip.

"Ted and I were diligently making pasta, she learned nothing," Steenburgen joked of Bergen sipping too many spritzes.

"This is a lovely drink to have starting at 8 in the morning, it's a very light drink but does the drink," Bergen, who supposedly got Steenburgen hooked on the cocktail, jokingly explained.

As for the sequel, premiering on May 12, it follows the ladies as they trek to Italy to celebrate the bachelorette party of Fonda's character. This time their antics are all inspired by Paulo Coelho’s book, "The Alchemist."

As for what's next, the ladies are already discussing their next chapter. She even dropped where she wanted it to be located — “Burning Man.” (The festival takes place in Nevada's Black Rock Desert.)
