You didn’t think that Starbucks would let the New Year come without a plethora of new menu items, did you? Between the drinks and food, the winter menu will keep you warm through the cold weather.
Let’s start with the beverages. There are three new drinks for winter 2021, including the Pistachio Latte, Honey Almondmilk Flat White, and Honey Almondmilk Cold Brew. Good news if your new drink of choice ends up being the Honey Almondmilk Flat White, because it joins the menu as a permanent offering.
Pistachio Latte: A combination of Starbucks Signature Espresso, steamed milk, and sweet flavors of pistachio that’s finished with a salted brown buttery topping
Honey Almondmilk Flat White (non-dairy): A combination of Starbucks Blonde espresso, almond milk, and honey
Honey Almondmilk Cold Brew (non-dairy): Slow-steeped Starbucks Cold Brew combined with honey and topped with almond milk for a creamy finish
No new menu is complete without some bites, so Starbucks has added the Earth Cake Pop, Red Velvet Loaf, and Kale and Portabella Mushroom Sous Vide Egg Bites to the line-up. Whether you need a quick on-the-go breakfast or a snack to power through the afternoon, any of the three sound good to us.
Earth Cake Pop: Rich chocolate cake, dipped in a blue chocolatey icing, and finished with green and white sprinkles to resemble the Earth
Red Velvet Loaf: Vanilla cake that’s swirled with classic red velvet cake and topped with a white chocolatey icing
Kale and Portabella Mushroom Sous Vide Egg Bites: Cage-free eggs, chopped kale, portabella mushrooms, and Monterey Jack cheese using the French “sous vide” technique
All of the new drinks and foods are available beginning on Jan. 5. However, some items are only around throughout the winter while supplies last, including the Pistachio Latte, Honey Almondmilk Cold Brew, Earth Cake Pop, and Red Velvet Loaf. It looks like we know what we’ll be ordering first!
