IDK who needs to hear this but a coffee does not count as a full breakfast! Breakfast helps you kickstart your metabolism, gives you energy for your day, and makes you more likely to choose nutritious options when it gets to lunch time. So when you stop by your local Starbucks to get your daily vanilla flat white or cold brew, it's important you get something to eat as well, which is where the chain's popular egg bites come in. The fan-favorite menu item is already available in a couple flavors, and now a veggie packed option is coming to stores.

Starbucks sous vide egg bites are a great protein-packed option if you like to start your mornings with something savory rather than a sweet slice of banana bread or something plain like a bagel. The sous vide way of preparing them makes them delightfully fluffy while also being dense enough to fill you up and get you ready for the day.

Until now, the egg bites were only available in Ham, Cheddar & Pepper, Bacon & Gruyére, and Egg White & Roasted Red Pepper. Now, a Kale & Portabella mushroom version with Monterey Jack cheese is hitting Starbucks locations and will offer a hearty, veggie-packed breakfast.

In addition to this savory selection, Starbucks is also offering new sweets to their stores. An Earth Cake Pop made with chocolate cake, blue icing, and sprinkles will be joined by a Red Velvet loaf made with vanilla and red velvet cake swirled together and topped with white chocolate icing. I'll be taking one of each, STAT.
