Stacey Solomon has shared a post celebrating her eldest son, hailing the 15-year-old as being "basically a third parent" to her younger children.

The presenter, 33, has just returned from a family holiday to Turkey and has shared her gratitude to her son Zach for his help with the youngest members of the clan during the 10-day-trip.

Solomon shares three-year-old Rex, two-year-old Rose, and five-month-old Belle with her husband, Joe Swash, 41.

She is also mum to Leighton, 11, and Zach, from previous relationships. Swash also has a 16-year-old son called Harry.

The Sort Your Life Out presenter has been sharing images and videos documenting the family's break, but her latest post is a sweet tribute to her eldest.

In a number of short video clips, Zach can be seen looking after his younger siblings including carrying Rose on his shoulders, helping dress his sister and carrying Rex on his shoulders.

In another clip, the teenager is spinning one of his siblings around in the swimming pool.

The accompanying caption to the touching post saw Solomon sharing her appreciation for her eldest son.

"Biggest Brother Love," the mum-of-five wrote. "Just had to share this because it really makes me so proud.

"Me and Joe were watching through these videos on the way home & saying how much harder holidays would be without Zach!"

Solomon went on to describe her son as "like a third parent who's much more fun than us", explaining that "nothing is ever too much" for Zach despite the family's busy lives.

Referring to the fact that she herself was a teenager when she gave birth to Zach, the presenter explained how mature her son is for his age.

"It’s honestly hard to believe that I had Zach just two years older than he is now & he’s a better person than I ever was at that age!" she says.

She finished her post by thanking her son for the time he spends caring for his siblings.

"Zach Your love and time for your brothers and sisters is just our favourite thing to watch. Thank you for everything," she wrote, before adding a caveat that the couple love all of their children the same amount.

"But at different times in our lives they all show their unique, special personalities & it just is so amazing to see & celebrate."

Unsurprisingly, the touching tribute struck a chord with fans, with many sharing their own sibling relationship love.

"This made me well up as it reminds me of how my sons are with my daughter," one user wrote. "Age gaps are beautiful."

"What a fantastic young man, but then he is raised in a beautiful family, you're so right to be proud," another added.

"Oh my heart!! Can we have more young men like this in this world please. The difference he will make in his life," yet another fan commented.

Despite their busy family life Solomon and Swash recently hinted they may one day expand their brood by fostering children.

“When the kids are old enough, we’ll think about fostering,” Swash, whose mother Kiffy has been a foster carer for 15 years, said in the BBC special, Joe Swash: Teens in Care.

“We love kids and Stacey is on the same page as me. She watched my mum’s journey, she’s watched Daniel’s [one of the foster kids featured in the special] journey. She’s been a massive support.”

Solomon recently discussed how what it’s like to have three children aged three and under, admitting that at times it’s “full on”.

Replying to some of her follower's questions on Instagram stories, including one that asked her how she’s finding life with five children, the TV personality replied: “I’ll be 100% honest, [having a three-year-old, one-year-old and a newborn] is full on,” the Loose Women presenter said in the video.

“There’s not many ways I can describe it. They obviously constantly need you, all of them, all of the time. It’s so different to when I had the older boys as there are bigger age gaps. So it’s really hard, but at the same time I love that they’re growing up together.”
