Blues' Bortuzzo suspended four games for cross-checking Preds' Arvidsson
St. Louis Blues defenceman Robert Bortuzzo has been suspended four games after cross-checking Nashville Predators forward Viktor Arvidsson in the back, sending him face-first into the crossbar.

During Saturday’s game, Bortuzzo sent Arvidsson straight into his own goal’s crossbar, and then when the forward was slow to get to his feet, he went in for another cross-check.

Even goaltender Jordan Binnington was getting in on the shoving.
Bortuzzo was most recently suspended prior to the 2018-19 regular season, after delivering a vicious elbow to Washington Capitals defenceman Michal Kempny in pre-season action. He missed the final two exhibition games and the season opener.
The NHL Department of Safety considers any player who committed an incident within the last 18 months a repeat offender and Bortuzzo was viewed as such.
The 30-year-old rearguard has one assist through 11 games played this season.
Nashville emerged with a 4-2 victory over St. Louis.
