The new trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming hit YouTube yesterday and sent the comic book universe into a tizzy. While some commenters loved all the action contained in the two-and-a-half minute coming attraction, others complained it gave waaaaaay too much away about the movie's plot.

But there's still at least one crucial element the trailer didn't reveal: much of anything at all about Zendaya's role as Michelle. Hello, where is she?

Casually watch from beginning to end, and you'd swear Z isn't in the teaser at all. You literally have to comb through the trailer frame by frame to find her. I did this for you (because I'm obsessed, you're welcome) and happily discovered Zendaya appears not once, but TWICE.

Her first appearance comes at the 0:39 mark, where you can see her sitting behind Peter in gym class reading the classic novel Of Human Bondage. Guess that's why Z keeps calling her character a bookworm in interviews!

Her second appearance comes at the end of the trailer. Peter, disguised as Spider-Man, is protecting his classmates on what appears to be a field trip to the Washington Monument. "My friends are up there!" Michelle yells at Spidey before he swings off to save her pals from apparent mayhem inside the landmark.

Based on how hush-hush the producers of Spider-Man are being about the nature of Zendaya's Michelle role, I've decided those rumors about "Michelle" being a code name for Mary Jane Watson (Peter's love interest!) are true. I don't care how much Zendaya denies it.
