These SpongeBob Squarepants Rice Krispies Treats Are Much Cuter Than The Original
A new cartoon movie, in this case, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, means new themed snacks! Rolling out in stores now are SpongeBob Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats.
Speculation about the new crispy marshmallow squares began circulating last month, along with SpongeBob Squarepants Cereal. Thanks to Instagram account @thetastyturtle, we know the marshmallow-cereal treats were just spotted on shelves.
The limited-edition Rice Krispies Treats don’t have a special flavor. Instead, they’re the Original and are bright yellow to match the famous sponge himself! So you can expect the same rice cereal and melted marshmallow flavor that you love from Kellogg’s.
So far, the SpongeBob Rice Krispies Treats have been found at Walmart in a value pack of 16 bars. Each one is individually wrapped, so grabbing one to snack on after lunch is a given. Obviously, the yellow treat tastes better than the original. We don’t make the rules.
