Bruce Campbell might have just confirmed the existence of a secret Marvel villain - himself.

Speaking with ComicBook, Campbell says each of the small roles he has in four different Spider-Man films are the same character.

"I'm not a pizza vendor, OK? That would be a massive mistake to think I'm just a pizza vendor, or an usher, or a ring announcer, or a maître d'. It's called the multiverse, my friend. So, yes, he is the same character, but we don't know who he really is. It has not been revealed yet. I just got off the phone with the guys at Marvel, and we're getting close to finding out."

Campbell made a brief cameo as a ring announcer in the first film of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy in 2002. He then appeared as a theater usher in the sequel, a pushy waiter in Spider-Man 3, and most recently, a hot dog vendor in 2022’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

With Campbell saying they’re all the same person, however, it raises questions over who that person is. Theories are ranging from it being Spider-Man’s classic illusionist villain Mysterio, or a variant separate from the Jake Gyllenhaal version seen in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

He could also be the shape-shifter Mephisto, who fans have been demanding for years. Campbell, though, is leaving it up to the experts.

"You're assuming that I know anything about Marvel lore, and I appreciate that…If you know anything about the multiverse, you know now, retroactively, I'm in the multiverse now because of Doctor Strange”

Someone else who made a revelation recently is the Captain America actor who spoke out on Marvel’s Thunderbolts.
